Child and Adolescent Mental Health Centralized Intake:
Manitoba Adolescent Treatment Centre 204-958-9660MATC provides a range of mental health services to children and adolescents who experience psychiatric and/or emotional disorders. Centralized intake is a single point of entry for intake and referral for children’s mental health services offered at the Manitoba Adolescent Treatment Centre and the Health Sciences Centre. The service can also assist the process of redirection to other appropriate agencies and programs.

Kids Help Phone is a Canadian charitable organization that provides 24/7 free confidential professional online and telephone counselling and volunteer-led, text-based support in English and French to youth across Canada. Kids Help Phone also provides information on how to access community support services for youth.
Manitoba Advocate for Children & Youth 204-988-7440 or 1-800-263-7146The Manitoba Advocate for Children and Youth (MACY) makes sure the voices of young people are heard, their rights are respected, and that they have a say in decisions that affect their lives. MACY advocates and reviews public services in Manitoba to ensure they are meeting the needs of children, youth, and young adults up to 21 years old with services like: Child welfare, Mental health, Youth justice, Adoption, Addiction , Education, Disabilities, and Victim support.

Youth Crisis Stabilization System (YCCSS) – 204-949-4777Provides youth under 18 and their families with a range of community-based crisis intervention services including intake services and the Mobile Crisis Team with access to the Brief Therapy Team, Crisis Stabilization Units, Home Based Crisis Intervention Services, and the Youth Education Service (YES).
Youth Resource Centre & Emergency Shelter – Macdonald Youth Services (MYS) 204-477-1804The MYS Youth Resource Centre (YRC) and Emergency Shelter is open 24 hours/day, 365 days/year. Youth ages 12 to 17 can access short-term, overnight, emergency stays, as well as crisis intervention and counselling services, advocacy, and basic needs like food, hygiene, clothes and a shower.
